Most of us know of the reality show Extreme Makeover Home Edition, and every fan of the show is familiar with its host, Ty Pennington. However, a lot of us are unfamiliar with those who work behind the scenes, those that pour their heart and souls into the construction of the homes being built for the deserving families. On company, KB's Kake Kreations did not let one of EMHE's hard workers birthdays slip by unnoticed. While giving his time to help local family, Wagstaff, KB’s Kake Kreations brought Gourmet Kake Truffles to the site of the Gainesville location to surprise the crewmember on his birthday. In addition KB’s also created a custom cake for the crew for a private VIP Party. The cake was an unfinished house, of course and the private party was at an undisclosed location in downtown Gainesville.

KB’s Kake Kreations is a local Gainesville Cake Business that specializes in Wedding Cakes and Custom Specialty Cakes.  This local business wanted to do their part and went above and beyond to make this a special time for the crew while they were here in Gainesville.  KB’s has been featured in the Knot for the past three years and wanted to do their part to make the team feel at home while they were working hard on the Wagstaff home.

EMHE had been working non- stop for the week of December 7 and is again on the forefront of everyone’s mind with the show airing.  KB’s felt this was one way they could help and give back to the community.  They also brought Kake Truffles on Sunday when everyone was working hard to finish the house and move in the furniture.  It was a nice treat for the cast and crew while they were working hard.
